About the Artists
Thanks for stopping by my store!   My name is Mary and I'm
the one who creates everything you see here- minus the new
bags from Nate!  But I make all the clothes, jewelry and
design the web pages.

Inspirational Seams has been a dream of mine for many years
now. My mother taught me how to sew when  I was a little
girl. In college I started making my own clothes and sold my
wears at college festivals and concert parking lots.  I always
wanted to have a small business doing something I love and now
my dream has come true!

I sew all my clothes on a brand new Pfaff Coverlock Serger
for strong seams and I use a Singer sewing machine for all my
top stitching and appliqué work.

I currently reside in Tucson, Arizona.

Thank you for visiting my website, check back soon for more
beautiful handcrafted items!
HELLO!!   Nathan Woodhall here, My good friend Mary is cool
enough to put my stuff up here on the web, so I'd like to
thank her for that.

My mom has always sewn.  Her and dad had to complete five
quilts together before they were allowed to get married. So
I've always been around fabric, sewing machines, and crafts.

My grandfather was a master carpenter. I learned a lot from
him.

I see my sewing as a logical connection between those two
influences. I kinda think about sewing as welding without the
heat and mess.

I use two machines, basically, a 1950's (est) Singer, and an
Elna (also pretty old). Mom got them for me from thrift
stores, and I love them. I don't have a serger and I wish I
did. Without a serger I have to make some decisions
differently than I would like to. The sewing I do has a raw
feeling to it (that just means you can see where I've screwed
up). I like it but it will change as I get better.

I live in Tucson as well!
OK that's enough, I hope you enjoy.
